Work Examples

Detailed before-and-after views of precision surgical instrument restoration under magnification.

Work Performed: Deburring instruments, re-serrating, damage removal, edge reconstruction, returning proper working angles, restoring correct edge angles, and reshaping to OEM specifications.

Our Process

At EdgeTech, we ensure trays are mission-ready by restoring every piece to OEM specs or flagging damaged units for removal. Unlike others who prioritize high-margin items, we meticulously service all instruments—even less profitable ones—to enhance clinical reliability, surgeon confidence, and patient safety. Our comprehensive approach ensures specialized tools like osteotomes and forceps receive the expert maintenance required for optimal surgical performance.

Forceps

Every forceps and grasper undergoes rigorous inspection for alignment and function. We examine jaws and teeth to guarantee peak performance, correcting any loose tension or clamping issues to restore precise surgical integrity before being returned for clinical use.

Osteotomes

We professionally restore surgical osteotomes. We hold the steepest possible angle while sharpening osteotomes to produce an edge far superior to even new instruments. Grind marks are then removed and polished to a mirror finish yielding the precision required for bone cutting and the best surgical outcomes.
